Rest With Jesus!
What Is Resting?
So, I asked Him this in my document, instead of just asking in prayer as my usual.
It turned into a blog entry for all who want to be encouraged when needing rest. It is hit with hard truth and also a plea from the Lord, to take care of the temple God gave us. You want to be used and be more effective? This is not ancient practice, this is practical practice:
I asked Jesus why.
I attempt to practice Sabbath, and I tend to ask Jesus in the early morning what He has planned for me this day. This was His response, since last night: "rest". Well, I have been trying to rest, rest in Him, etc. However, I realized I don't think I really know what that means completely, especially when I am panicked about having nothing on my agenda for the day to "do" from Him. So, I asked again, same response. So, I asked Him what do we read today? He said the same, and I began to rethink about my presentation of my question. Maybe it is a matter of perspective?
The Holy Spirit continued:
A time to come deeply into His presence, and hear what He has for me. It is a time to come humbly and be thankful for what He has done for me. What He has given me. A time to dwell in His presence with thanksgiving and praise, worship.
It is a time to enjoy those whom He puts in our lives, as well as to enjoy the things given by Him for us to enjoy in this life. All done with righteousness, truth, and love. The love of God.
What does it mean from your perspective what “resting” with You looks like, Abba?
I hear, "Enjoying the blessings given by You Lord", is part of this? (This is all that he has given us, the fruits of our labor, including our loved ones) Reading your Word? Listening and spending time with you in prayer as well?
The One True God
The One True God Hello Family, I come to you with a Word from our Lord Jesus Christ, our True, Faithful, and Rightful King and One and Only, True God in existence. (Revelation 19:1-16) This is to His church and the ghost of the country that I was born into, The United States of America. The country as we know it, is not the same nor will ever be the same. Many are in denial and only a remnant knows and understands what and why this is actually happening. The country is being led into a place similar to what happened to the children of Israel thousands of years ago. They were attacked, conquered, and decimated. They lost all of their possessions, their culture, their identity, everything they stood for. They lost their comforts, their fun, their joy. (Check out this blog entry from the Bible Project) Hope and Salvation didn't seem a very real possibility. The Lord has brought me to many scriptures to reveal these same truths are true about our beloved country. I was led to: 5Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, “Hear the word of the Lord of hosts: 6‘Behold, the days are coming when all that is in your house, and what your fathers have accumulated until this day, shall be carried to Babylon; nothing shall be left,’ says the Lord. 7‘And they shall take away some of your sons who will descend from you, whom you will beget; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.’ ” (Isaiah 39:5-7) I inquired about what this means, He said a warning concerning our country: Click to go to the blog and read more!
The Power and Weapon of Praise
The Praise of My Soul to Our King Hello Family, I am back to write about some more tools in your spiritual toolbelt to use during these last days. Hopefully, this ministry will be seen well after we are raptured and home safe with our Father God in heaven. I would love to provide more than just these tools during this time. The church will go through fire and persecution, and the world will come against those who love Jesus with all of their heart. For some, the idea of praise being a weapon against the enemy Satan, and his minions is a no brainer. I am thankful you are some of those who understand this power. Faith over Fear!
Hello old and new readers. I have been away learning about this very title, faith vs. fear. How do we build our faith and not grow in fear? I have been learning for a very long time what it means to have faith, especially when faced with uncertainty and anxious, scary experiences. I am not a prodigy in the least on this subject; however, our Savior and God in heaven have been shaping me to learn what this means, and how to fight the fear and anxious thoughts. I am still learning how to exercise my brain to do those drills necessary to keep me in line with the Lord, in His will. All the while, I am going through such drudgery (struggles) at the same time. I am learning how to have peace and joy, right in the face of the enemy, and to the disdain of my flesh's natural inclination, which is to give up and control my circumstances.
Are you Ready for the Bridegroom?
Hello Family, If you are those who know the Lord Jesus, the Messiah (Christ), as their Savior and King, and are filled with the Holy Spirit of God, then you might want to get used to saying "family" to each other. We are adopted sons and daughters of our Father in Heaven, the Creator of the Universe and all existence. (Ephesians 1:4-6, 2:19, John 1:12, 14:18, Galatians 3:26, 4:4-7, Romans 8:14-19, 8:26, 9:8, 1 John 3:1, Psalm 27:10) As all children on earth are adopted into a family and counted as their flesh and blood, so are we with our Father in heaven. Once we were washed white a snow (Isaiah 1:18, Psalm 51:7)and given life to our once dead spirit, we are now alive and well, counted as one of the family in our Savior's and Father's eyes. The Holy Spirit will tell you so. (Romans 8:12-17) How sweet it is to know this truth. You and I are never alone in this world, with or without family. Our Father ensured we were never to be alone and abandoned. With this in mind, let me get into my reason for this post.
The Perfect Sacrifice
The Road to Romans Pt. 3 I hope that the video was a blessing to you as you learn about the book of Romans. There was a lot of meat to the meal this time. As you could probably tell, there were a lot of scriptures added to help deepen your dive (enrich the pallete), as we learn about what God has for us in this awesome book. I will be adding the next video quickly, as I kept this video within about 20-25 minutes long. I don't want it to be too much of a meal. No need to get stuffed... 🤣Just kidding, I can't get enough much of the time. 😉 Within my video, you will notice that I addressed the comments, subscribing, etc. I have multiple places you can find me and engage with me. How is your Fruit Shining Forth?
Hello readers and viewers! I know it has been two weeks thus far to see the next episode of my videos and a blog post. I hope you all have not been parched of the teachings. I said last time that I would post the next video the same day, after the other. Forgive me, but I was unable to make this happen. I should not have said I would post right away and not complete it. Jesus states that I must make my yes, yes and no, no (Matthew 5:33-37). I apologize that I did not follow through with what I said I would do. I was able to finally edit the video I needed to finish the specific lesson. I hope you all enjoyed it. I wanted to share a neat way that the Lord uses me with the gift of exhortation. Many times I am able to hear music in my mind and sometimes, when I am reading prayer requests from friends, I begin having a song in my mind. These songs are usually associated with what they need. I have since been asking if they want the song and it seems to edify them. I am pretty excited by this revelation in my walk. Music is an awesome way to pray to God our Father and our Lord Jesus. I am able to intercede for others with song, as I am thinking on the lyrics and talking to the Lord through them. This is why choosing to listen to music that is good before the Lord, and worships the Lord, is more beneficial that most other forms of lyrics out there. God Wants us to use our voices in song to Him. (Colossians 3:14-17)
